Basic Parish Nurse Educaiton Course
Faith Community Nursing is a recognized specialty practice that combines professional nursing and health ministry. The practice of parish nursing emphasizes health and healing within a faith community. The four major components of the philosophy of parish nursing include: spiritual formation, professionalism, health and wholeness and community. The Faith Community Health Ministry Program of NWO is offering this course to prepare nurses and health ministers to deliver wholistic health care to members of a faith community.
Registered Nurses upon the completion of the course will be receive a Faith Community Nurse Pin and certificate during the final Blessing Ceremony.
Health Ministers on completion of the course will receive a Health Minister Pin and certificate during the final Blessing Service Ceremony.
